We had a fantastic time out on the Raquette River this July! The scenery was just breathtaking. We were completely new to canoe camping, and had a party of 2 adults and 7 teenage boys! Anne and her staff were extremely helpful and made sure we had everything we needed to have a great time. Anne was really patient in answering all our questions and helping us plan a suitable trip. It was an unforgettable experience for us all.

Can’t say enough about RRO. I have been shopping with them for years . I buy a Helle knife every year I visit . This year I did a lot of extra paddling and both owners were so helpful to make sure I could complete the goals I set for this trip . Extremely knowledgeable, personable and encouraging. Thanks RRO for helping this old girl get the triad and the Long lake Tupper lake trip done. . See you next year save me a Helle

The staff here were all so kind and helpful! Chuck gave us a great route to explore the Simond Pond/Raquette Lake area. Anne not only made some accommodations for us, but also gave fantastic recommendations for other activities around. Safety was a priority with this place. We will definitely be back again and again!

Been using RRO for 4+ years to explore the area. Great service and really friendly staff. They always help plan trips and are knowledgeable about the different areas. The equipment is all high quality and reliable. Always an epic experience w them.
