Our story
A livery on a hot Saturday is controlled chaos: a rental line at the counter signing waivers on paper, a shuttle schedule scrawled on a whiteboard, the guided-trip roster taped by the register, and a rack of boats, paddles, and PFDs tracked in the desk staff's memory. The software these outfitters get offered was built for gym memberships. It has no idea what a shuttle slot or a Class III trip is.
Paddling Hubs is built around that counter at the put-in: rentals and releases on the tablet, emergency contacts one tap away when a trip is overdue, trip-photo handoff that doesn't need a card reader, and an outfitter profile paddlers can actually find.

The network
Great Outdoor Hubs is the company behind a growing family of outdoor brands, and the shared platform every one of them runs on. Each hub has its own name, audience, and identity, but underneath they share one codebase: the same maps, the same trail recording, the same community features, the same accounts.
It works as a two-sided model. Operators (fishing guides, off-road parks, dive shops, ski resorts, RV communities) pay for the operations software that runs their business: bookings, digital waivers, member rosters, and marketing. That revenue is what funds the other side.
The other side is free. Parcel maps, trail networks, weather grids, and fire alerts, all built on public data that is free by law, go out to outdoor enthusiasts and residents at no cost. We can keep it free because we stay community-specific instead of licensing expensive nationwide datasets. Every improvement compounds: a safety fix shipped for one hub reaches all of them the same day.
