  Wow! This company made my trip such a wonderful experience. They were timely, had really well kept equipment, and communication was a breeze. I needed a small accommodation, and they came through for me when other companies I contacted wouldn’t. I highly recommend Wisconsin Canoe Company for your trip. I will hopefully be booking with them again in the fall.

  This is my fifth or sixth time canoeing with this company and I hope there’s many more trip down the Wisconsin River in my future. They could not make it any easier-you show up at Peck’s Landing, grab your cooler, your husband and your dog, and load into the bus. From there, they take you 10 miles upstream and drop you off at a launch point with your canoe and paddles already waiting for ya. The rest is up to you! 10 miles of canoeing downstream takes about 3 1/2 hours for an average two people, but you can let it take as long as you want. My man and I were out on the Wisconsin River all day! Not gonna lie, he did most of the paddling. When you get back to the original Peck’s landing (with your car), you bring the canoe onto the river bank and go off on your merry way, happy, Sun-kissed, and fully rejuvenated. To note, we did end up going into a little offshoot on the river and found that we needed to get out and push ourselves over a sandbank a handful of times. Really not a problem for us, but something to keep in mind. Love this experience!

  Renting with Wisconsin canoe company was easy and they were very responsive before and after the trip. The canoes and gear were in great condition. We did the three day trip from Prairie du Sac with our first timer kids and they loved it and can’t wait to take another canoe trip.

  This stretch of the Wisconsin River is like one long sandy beach with hills and trees all around. The water is shallow making it perfect for beginner canoeists. We did the 18 miles over two half days with three of us (myself and two teenage boys) and it was a really good distance. We paddled the whole time so if you want the easier distance do the 9 mile. We started around 1pm and found a secluded sandbar to camp on around 4:30pm. We stayed the night and stated out again around 9am and finished abkht 12pm. It was really nice. Best part is we were barefoot the whole time since you canoe and camp in a beach. You’ll get sand everywhere but it’s worth it. It’s a special place. We lived near the beach in California for years and waking up in the mist on the beach on the water was a magical. And Wisconsin Canoe Company made it all so easy. They have this dialed in. I wouldn’t use anyone else. Go make a memory you won’t forget.
