Simple, yet ample access for canoes and kayaks. Visited Cane Bayou during a cold January day and still spotted a lot of wildlife. Pelicans, egret, deer, bald eagles, muskrat, red winged black birds, thousands of tree swallows, and cormorants.

Great little launch, but it gets crowded on weekends & holidays plus Bayou Adventures uses this launch... The is nice paddle through the wetland eco system, lots of wildlife & the cypress swamp is a beauty of its own!!! You can paddle out to Lake Pontchartrain & paddle the lake if it's not too rough...

We launched our sunset kayak trip here with Canoe and Trail Adventures. This was a very nice section of the bayou for kayaking and alligator spotting.
