Woke up and headed straight to the river. This was a great experience and the team here was on point and helpful. They let u jus explore at ya own pace. Got some good footage and pics. It wasn't too hot jus relaxing river

Easy to rent kayaks or canoes (singles or doubles) + life vests, and enjoy. The river is easy to navigate. A beautiful way to spend a few hours on a weekend summer day.

Very peaceful and quiet boat experience. The parking can get tricky some days. Several options for different family sizes. Booking in advance recommended.

I love this place for kayaking. Very pleasant staff, check-in and checkout is easy. I kayaked in both directions and I found going towards Newton smoother than West Roxbury. However, I saw more wildlife going towards West Roxbury. Regardless, I enjoy kayaking along this part of the Charles and I highly recommended this location.
