  It’s rare that through a little community activity, one is able to see our Mississippi from a new perspective. What a wonderful journey across our great river along side animals, great guides and neighbors. Expect the tour to run 2-2.5 hours, depending on the energy of the group! You’ll get to see many bridges, the lock, and the waterfalls along the way. The guides do a fantastic job of capturing photos of each kayak, so you’ll have a memory to take home with you. The best part, was the contagious love for the river that is at the heart of the company’s ethos. As we move away from Minneapolis, this was a highlight activity ahead of our departure! Thank you!

  i am traveling solo from la with my cat mushu, and one of the things i really wanted to do in minnesota was kayak the mississippi river. i called paddle bridge to ask if i can bring mushu and immediately was greeted with such warm and kind energy. the booking link on google maps is not working, but once i found the right link, i was able to book with ease for a sunset kayak tour experience. this was such a dope experience from start to finish. not only were the views beautiful, but everybodies energy was so welcoming for my cat and our guide beaver is clearly very passionate about what he does. not only do they provide the kayak and a tour, but they even provide waterproof phone cases, drinking water, and free photos! they have truly thought of everything and genuinely care about their customers. mushu and i had a wonderful time, and i cannot recommend enough booking this experience.

  Love these guys! My husband and I have been on their tours at least 4 times now. We like to bring new people each time to experience the city along the water. The guides are kind, knowledgeable and funny. They bring waterproof phone bags and dry bags for you to keep your valuables in safely, and you can keep your phone bag on you to take your own pictures if you like. Otherwise, the guides also carry along a camera that they take pictures with OF you that they email to you later. I really can’t recommend this tour and company enough (especially Sparky and Beaver!). If you’re worried, I’d say that this tour along the river, the Heart of Minneapolis tour, is honestly very calming. The water is not at all rough. I don’t think the current is that strong at all either. They do a good job teaching you how to paddle and stay safe beforehand. The kayaks themselves are very sturdy. Just listen to the guides and you will be safe. Can’t wait to go again!

  I've been kayaking for a couple of years now in the Austin, TX area. Having grown up near the Mississippi River in Louisiana, I was very excited for the opportunity to kayak in the upper Mississippi. My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed a relaxing tour with Andy. Their local knowledge added a nice touch as they pointed out many things about the Twin Cities. Everyone we encountered on our trip to Minnesota was extraordinarily friendly and the Paddle Bridge crew was certainly no exception to that. Whether you have kayaking experience or not, or whether you're a local or visitor, you should book an excursion with Paddle Bridge! 10/10 would yak again!
