Chartered in 1905, the Philadelphia Canoe Club is one of the oldest paddling organizations in the United States. It is headquartered in a former mill at the confluence of the Wissahickon Creek and the Schuylkill River in Manayunk, and counts more than 200 canoeists, kayakers and stand-up paddleboarders among its members.
