One of Hawaii's historic outrigger canoe clubs, informally started at Waikiki around 1905 and chartered in 1911. Its founders included Olympic swimmer and surfing pioneer Duke Kahanamoku, and its long rivalry with the Outrigger Canoe Club helped sustain the islands' enthusiasm for canoe racing and surfing.
