How featured placement is verified
- Put the badge on a page we can reach without logging in: your homepage, /about, /partners, or /featured-on all count.
- Any link to your listing counts, including one marked nofollow or sponsored. Featured is recognition for linking to us, not a trade for search ranking credit.
- We re-check weekly. The badge stays live, your listing stays featured. Take it down and the star goes with it. Nothing else changes.
- Claim your listing (free) to turn a verified badge into featured placement. An unclaimed listing can carry the badge, but can’t hold the star.
- Featured in exchange for a link runs while we are in beta. Once beta ends and paid plans open, subscribing to a plan is the only way to earn featured placement. If your link is verified before beta ends, you keep the full Featured treatment, badge and star included, for as long as the link stays live.
